Eddy Carter.

 

Born April 17th 1957 in Manchester, England.

 Appeared on the television talent show, opportunity knocks in 1974 with the Manchester group, Flashback, aged16, (beaten, into 2nd place, by a singing dog).

Signed to Virgin records in the late 70s with the band Cry, recording an album at the world famous manor studios in Oxford, also appearing at the legendary London venue the Marquee.

Played in several Manchester bands throughout the late 80s, before becoming a member of the Casuals, (Jesamine 1968), and latterly, the Easybeats, (Friday on my mind, 1967), touring with them for 14 years.

Also an established guitar vocalist on the North West cabaret circuit, Eddy was invited to join Herman Hermits, on, lead guitar when Graham Lee decided to leave the band in March 2004.
